The Town Clerk is the keeper of all the Towns records. 
Responsibilities:
Basic Responsibilities of The Town Clerk:

Takes Minutes of Town Board Meetings; Records All Local Laws; Issues Sporting, Marriage, Dog, and Sewer Installer Licenses and Permits; 

Helps the County with Election Duties; Is the Vital Statistics recorder; and in charge of all Town Records.
